# Device Tracker vs Resume CV Builder

The clearest difference is rating: Resume CV Builder at 5.0 against Device Tracker's 4.1. Resume CV Builder also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs fortnightly). Device Tracker's advantage is ratings volume (45 vs 3). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Device Tracker sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and Resume CV Builder sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Resume CV Builder holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Device Tracker has 45 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Device Tracker ships an update fortnightly, Resume CV Builder every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
