# Journi vs Nomad

The clearest difference is update cadence: Journi at every 5 days against Nomad's every 6 weeks. Journi also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Journi sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Nomad sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Journi ships an update every 5 days, Nomad every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
