# Drifta vs Tracktopus

The clearest difference is ads: Drifta at none against Tracktopus's shown. Tracktopus's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 7 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Drifta sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Tracktopus sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Drifta ships an update every 7 months, Tracktopus fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on September 28, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
