# Drifta vs Aster

The clearest difference is update cadence: Aster at every 4 days against Drifta's every 7 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Drifta sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Aster sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Drifta ships an update every 7 months, Aster every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
