# LightDrop vs Boltfall

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: LightDrop at 15.0 against Boltfall's 18.0. On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LightDrop sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and Boltfall sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

LightDrop ships an update every 4 days, Boltfall every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
