# FlutterCodeX vs FileDrop

The clearest difference is update cadence: FileDrop at every 2 weeks against FlutterCodeX's every 2 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FlutterCodeX sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and FileDrop sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FlutterCodeX ships an update every 2 months, FileDrop every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 21, 2026 and September 27, 2026 respectively.
