# Divvy vs SplitSmart

The clearest difference is update cadence: Divvy at weekly against SplitSmart's monthly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Divvy sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and SplitSmart sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Divvy ships an update weekly, SplitSmart monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
