# eTestPaper vs Chorcha

eTestPaper and Chorcha both sit at 4.2 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of eTestPaper's written reviews are positive against 50% of Chorcha's. eTestPaper also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Chorcha's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (212 vs 6). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Chorcha holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Chorcha has 212 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of eTestPaper's written reviews are positive against 50% of Chorcha's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

eTestPaper ships an update every 3 months, Chorcha every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
