# Level All vs Scholarly

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Level All at 100% against Scholarly's 26%. Level All also leads on monetization model (freemium vs subscription) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Scholarly's advantage is ratings volume (4.5K vs 5) and update cadence (every 3 days vs every 11 days). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Level All sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $13.99 per month and Scholarly sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Level All holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Scholarly has 4.5K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of Level All's written reviews are positive against 26% of Scholarly's.

Level All ships an update every 11 days, Scholarly every 3 days. Both last shipped on November 5, 2026.
