# Zu vs SunoTone

The clearest difference is ads: Zu at none against SunoTone's shown. Zu also leads on update cadence (every 6 days vs fortnightly). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Zu sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and SunoTone sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Zu ships an update every 6 days, SunoTone fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
