# Notease vs OktoNote

The clearest difference is update cadence: OktoNote at every 4 days against Notease's every 3 months. OktoNote also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.1). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Notease sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and OktoNote sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Notease ships an update every 3 months, OktoNote every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
