# Study Kitty vs Focus Cat

The clearest difference is update cadence: Focus Cat at every 2 weeks against Study Kitty's every 4 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Study Kitty sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Focus Cat sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Study Kitty ships an update every 4 months, Focus Cat every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and September 28, 2026 respectively.
