# Weather Navigation vs EarCare

The clearest difference is rating: Weather Navigation at 4.3 against EarCare's 1.0. Weather Navigation also leads on ratings volume (8 vs 1) and device support (3 vs 1). EarCare's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 60%) and ads (none vs shown). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Weather Navigation holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Weather Navigation has 8 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of Weather Navigation's written reviews are positive against 100% of EarCare's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Weather Navigation ships an update monthly, EarCare every 6 weeks. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
