# Yarn Quest 3D vs Wool Knit

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Yarn Quest 3D at 82% against Wool Knit's 0%. Yarn Quest 3D also leads on ratings volume (639 vs 5). Wool Knit's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Yarn Quest 3D sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Wool Knit sells 13 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Wool Knit holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Yarn Quest 3D has 639 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 82% of Yarn Quest 3D's written reviews are positive against 0% of Wool Knit's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Yarn Quest 3D ships an update weekly, Wool Knit every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
