# Package Tracker vs Parcel Trace

The clearest difference is ads: Parcel Trace at none against Package Tracker's shown. Parcel Trace also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 9 days) and chart position (#172 vs unranked). Package Tracker's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs paid). On price, ratings volume, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Package Tracker sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Parcel Trace sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Package Tracker ships an update every 9 days, Parcel Trace every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
