# Loominote vs Afterthought

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Loominote at 35 against Afterthought's 1. On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Loominote sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and Afterthought sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Loominote against 5.0 for Afterthought. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Loominote has 35 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Loominote ships an update every 6 days, Afterthought every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
