# Friction° vs Focus Buddy

The clearest difference is update cadence: Focus Buddy at every 2 days against Friction°'s monthly. Focus Buddy also leads on device support (3 vs 1). Friction°'s advantage is iOS requirement (18.2 vs 26.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Friction° sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Focus Buddy sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
