# Sticky Notes vs BookWave

The clearest difference is ads: BookWave at none against Sticky Notes's shown. BookWave also leads on update cadence (every 6 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sticky Notes sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and BookWave sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
