# Talk Macros vs PillPets

The clearest difference is rating: Talk Macros at 4.5 against PillPets's 3.5. Talk Macros also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks) and ratings volume (27 vs 8). PillPets's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (100% vs 83%). On price, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Talk Macros sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and PillPets sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Talk Macros holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 27 and 8 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 83% of Talk Macros's written reviews are positive against 100% of PillPets's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Talk Macros ships an update weekly, PillPets every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
