# Minddump vs Tether

The clearest difference is update cadence: Tether at every 4 days against Minddump's every 4 weeks. Minddump's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Minddump sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Tether sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Minddump ships an update every 4 weeks, Tether every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
