# Liquid Path vs Lanterns

The clearest difference is update cadence: Lanterns at daily against Liquid Path's every 3 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Liquid Path sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Lanterns sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Liquid Path ships an update every 3 weeks, Lanterns daily. The most recent releases landed on September 21, 2026 and September 23, 2026 respectively.
