# Stronix VPN vs AureX

The clearest difference is monetization model: AureX at free with in-app purchases against Stronix VPN's subscription. AureX also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs fortnightly) and review sentiment (100% vs 86%). On price, rating, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Stronix VPN sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per 7 days and AureX sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Stronix VPN holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 126 and 57 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 86% of Stronix VPN's written reviews are positive against 100% of AureX's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Stronix VPN ships an update fortnightly, AureX every 2 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
