# Flipside vs Record Picker

The clearest difference is monetization model: Flipside at free against Record Picker's paid. Record Picker's advantage is device support (4 vs 2). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flipside sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Record Picker sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Flipside ships an update every 3 days, Record Picker every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
