# Ludus vs Wellspoken

The clearest difference is ads: Ludus at none against Wellspoken's shown. Ludus also leads on review sentiment (89% vs 61%). Wellspoken's advantage is ratings volume (6.7K vs 123) and chart position (#151 vs unranked). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ludus sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and Wellspoken sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Ludus against 4.8 for Wellspoken. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Wellspoken has 6.7K ratings behind it against 123, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 89% of Ludus's written reviews are positive against 61% of Wellspoken's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
