# Gtec GMS vs G

The clearest difference is update cadence: G at every 2 weeks against Gtec GMS's every 14 months. Gtec GMS's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Gtec GMS ships an update every 14 months, G every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
