# The Found It vs WhatPrice

The clearest difference is review sentiment: The Found It at 100% against WhatPrice's 43%. The Found It also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). WhatPrice's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 6 weeks) and ratings volume (50 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. The Found It sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.00 per month and WhatPrice sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

The Found It holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WhatPrice has 50 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of The Found It's written reviews are positive against 43% of WhatPrice's.

The Found It ships an update every 6 weeks, WhatPrice every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and November 6, 2026 respectively.
