# Delay vs Regrind

The clearest difference is update cadence: Delay at every 5 days against Regrind's fortnightly. Delay also leads on review sentiment (87% vs 75%). Regrind's advantage is rating (4.9 vs 4.7). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Delay sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and Regrind sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Regrind holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 105 and 70 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 87% of Delay's written reviews are positive against 75% of Regrind's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Delay ships an update every 5 days, Regrind fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
