# Delay vs ScrollToll

Delay and ScrollToll both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 87% of Delay's written reviews are positive against 74% of ScrollToll's. ScrollToll's advantage is ratings volume (780 vs 105). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Delay sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and ScrollToll sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $4.49 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Delay against 4.8 for ScrollToll. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ScrollToll has 780 ratings behind it against 105, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 87% of Delay's written reviews are positive against 74% of ScrollToll's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
