# Delay vs Lockout

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Delay at 105 against Lockout's 1. Lockout's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Delay sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and Lockout sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $7.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Lockout holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Delay has 105 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
