# Audible Kungfu vs Inkcore

The clearest difference is rating: Inkcore at 5.0 against Audible Kungfu's 2.7. Inkcore also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 2 months). Audible Kungfu's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and ratings volume (6 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Audible Kungfu sells 23 one-off in-app purchases and Inkcore sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Inkcore holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Audible Kungfu has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Audible Kungfu ships an update every 2 months, Inkcore every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
