# Hey Me vs Pouchbrain

The clearest difference is update cadence: Pouchbrain at every 3 weeks against Hey Me's every 2 months. Pouchbrain also leads on iOS requirement (16.6 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hey Me sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Pouchbrain sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Hey Me ships an update every 2 months, Pouchbrain every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
