# EchoAmi vs Vidy

The clearest difference is ads: EchoAmi at none against Vidy's shown. EchoAmi also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.5). Vidy's advantage is ratings volume (876 vs 1) and monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. EchoAmi sells 7 one-off in-app purchases and Vidy sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

EchoAmi holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Vidy has 876 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
