# SC vs AB

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: SC at none against AB's 1. SC also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.6). AB's advantage is update cadence (every 9 days vs every 2 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AB sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. SC asks for nothing beyond the download.

SC ships an update every 2 months, AB every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
