# Take Notes vs Concrete Calculator

The clearest difference is ads: Concrete Calculator at none against Take Notes's shown. Concrete Calculator also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). Take Notes's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 3 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Take Notes sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Concrete Calculator sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Take Notes ships an update monthly, Concrete Calculator every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
