# Take Notes vs PeekAI

The clearest difference is ads: PeekAI at none against Take Notes's shown. Take Notes's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.6). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Take Notes sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and PeekAI sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Take Notes ships an update monthly, PeekAI every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 14, 2026.
