# OneBook vs TalkWord

The clearest difference is ratings volume: OneBook at 64 against TalkWord's 3. On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. OneBook sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $8.00 per month and TalkWord sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for OneBook against 5.0 for TalkWord. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: OneBook has 64 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 97% of OneBook's written reviews are positive against 100% of TalkWord's.

OneBook ships an update weekly, TalkWord every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
