# Private AI Note Taker vs Lyonesse

The clearest difference is rating: Private AI Note Taker at 5.0 against Lyonesse's 3.8. Private AI Note Taker also leads on ratings volume (36 vs 5). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Private AI Note Taker sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Lyonesse sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Private AI Note Taker holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Private AI Note Taker has 36 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 93% of Private AI Note Taker's written reviews are positive against 100% of Lyonesse's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Private AI Note Taker ships an update every 6 days, Lyonesse every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
