# Private AI Note Taker vs Notez

The clearest difference is rating: Private AI Note Taker at 5.0 against Notez's 4.7. Private AI Note Taker also leads on update cadence (every 6 days vs every 2 weeks) and ratings volume (36 vs 6). Notez's advantage is iOS requirement (16.4 vs 26.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Private AI Note Taker sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Notez sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Private AI Note Taker holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Private AI Note Taker has 36 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 93% of Private AI Note Taker's written reviews are positive against 100% of Notez's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Private AI Note Taker ships an update every 6 days, Notez every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
