# Focus App Blocker vs Focus Timer

The clearest difference is update cadence: Focus Timer at every 3 days against Focus App Blocker's fortnightly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Focus App Blocker sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per 7 days and Focus Timer sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Focus App Blocker ships an update fortnightly, Focus Timer every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
