# Taday! vs OwlCal

The clearest difference is update cadence: Taday! at daily against OwlCal's every 4 days. OwlCal's advantage is ratings volume (8 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Taday! sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and OwlCal sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Taday! against 5.0 for OwlCal. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: OwlCal has 8 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Taday! ships an update daily, OwlCal every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
