# Jotly vs Jot

The clearest difference is update cadence: Jotly at every 5 days against Jot's monthly. Jotly also leads on ratings volume (6 vs 2) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 27.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Jotly sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Jot sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $5.00 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Jotly against 5.0 for Jot. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 6 and 2 respectively. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Jotly ships an update every 5 days, Jot monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
