# FutureNote vs Be Joyful

The clearest difference is update cadence: Be Joyful at every 2 days against FutureNote's weekly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FutureNote sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Be Joyful sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FutureNote ships an update weekly, Be Joyful every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and September 25, 2026 respectively.
