# OktoNote vs Keepstack

The clearest difference is update cadence: OktoNote at every 4 days against Keepstack's every 3 weeks. OktoNote also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. OktoNote sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Keepstack sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

OktoNote ships an update every 4 days, Keepstack every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
