# Openit vs OpeningBook

The clearest difference is device support: Openit at 3 against OpeningBook's 1. Openit also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Openit sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and OpeningBook sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
