# Comms vs AviateIQ

The clearest difference is review sentiment: AviateIQ at 86% against Comms's 36%. AviateIQ also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.2). Comms's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 6 weeks) and ratings volume (207 vs 8). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Comms sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and AviateIQ sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $14.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AviateIQ holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Comms has 207 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 36% of Comms's written reviews are positive against 86% of AviateIQ's.

Comms ships an update every 4 days, AviateIQ every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
