# Comms vs FlightKit

The clearest difference is review sentiment: FlightKit at 100% against Comms's 36%. FlightKit also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.2). Comms's advantage is ratings volume (207 vs 4) and update cadence (every 4 days vs every 9 days). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Comms sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and FlightKit sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FlightKit holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Comms has 207 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 36% of Comms's written reviews are positive against 100% of FlightKit's.

Comms ships an update every 4 days, FlightKit every 9 days. Both last shipped on October 16, 2026.
