# Dream Sort vs Wool Sorting

The clearest difference is monetization model: Dream Sort at free against Wool Sorting's free with in-app purchases. Dream Sort also leads on ratings volume (154 vs 16). Wool Sorting's advantage is rating (4.9 vs 4.7). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Dream Sort sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Wool Sorting sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Wool Sorting holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dream Sort has 154 ratings behind it against 16, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Dream Sort ships an update every 2 weeks, Wool Sorting weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
