# BitTime vs Flip Clock

The clearest difference is ads: BitTime at none against Flip Clock's shown. Flip Clock's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs monthly) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.2). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BitTime sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and Flip Clock sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BitTime ships an update monthly, Flip Clock weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
