# UStrive App vs ScholarshipOwl

The clearest difference is rating: ScholarshipOwl at 4.7 against UStrive App's 2.9. ScholarshipOwl also leads on ratings volume (150 vs 11). UStrive App's advantage is review sentiment (57% vs 17%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ScholarshipOwl holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 2.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ScholarshipOwl has 150 ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 57% of UStrive App's written reviews are positive against 17% of ScholarshipOwl's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UStrive App ships an update every 5 weeks, ScholarshipOwl every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on September 28, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
