# Mish vs BookScribe

The clearest difference is update cadence: BookScribe at every 3 days against Mish's weekly. Mish's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mish sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and BookScribe sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Mish ships an update weekly, BookScribe every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
